Jessica Simpson visits K-FROG. Regardless of what you may have already seen on former reality shows or whatever impression you may or may not have on Jessica Simpson, you cannot deny one thing. The girl can sing. This girl grew up in Texas listening to a lot of the same country artists that inspired many of todays Nashville stars. During her visit to our station, she admitted that back in her pop past on an occasion or two her record label/producers had her recut some of her songs because "they sounded too country."

I love hearing that. It just says to me that she's just fine in our world. Hearing songs from her upcoming country album in Nashville a few weeks ago also solidified that thought in my mind. It sounded fantastic.

That along with her off the cuff humor make her a bit of a modern day June Carter Cash. She'll comment on anything and isn't shy about admitting she can be a dork on occasion. She knows what we know: that the tabloids have found any reason to create any kind of garbage they want about her and her family, her divorce from what's his name (you know from that reality show) and oh, yeah, whether or not she's dating Tony Romo... That is the world of the tabloids...

Our world is much more simple. We just like good music and great personalities. To that I say, welcome to country music Jessica Simpson. I think you'll find we're a lot nicer here...and we'll never tell you that your songs "sound too country"
